Sounds like wild weather!

I'm sitting at the computer perusing the news for the first time in the past 24 hours - have been out of cyber-contact since being in Atlanta for the LCK family Christmas - and just read in the Pantagraph that you in that area have had severe thunderstorms & possible tornadoes this afternoon. This morning's Weather Channel said flooding was possible in central Illinois. Ice, snow, fog - What have you NOT had this week?!!! Sure hope things settle down soon.

We have had wild weather the past 24 hours. Today has been extrmely windy and rainy and there were tornado warnings for the area around Galesburg and Princeville. Don't know if they developed.
Yesterday we drove over to Urbana to see Erin and Thomas and coming home it was extremely foggy. It was scary. Thank goodness for a lot of traffic as you could follow their lights. Last night it was 56degrees---up from below zero a few days ago. All of our snow and ice is now melted - thank goodness. They are predicting heavy rain tonight.
It was good to see where Erin and Thomas live. It is a good college apartment - very comfortable. They took us to Cracker Barrel for lunch for my birthday.
