The above map pinpoints the various locations in the USA of attendees at the reunion. There were 290-300 in attendance from 25 states. Note the point in upper northwest Washington, to California, Florida and to New York. A family friendship evolved quickly and I'm lonesome for some who became fast friends! Like it or not, there are Klopfys in almost every state. I enjoy tracking the unknown family members.

Uncle Lynn, are the push pins reprentative of the locations of those who attended the reunion only? A map of all the known Klopfenstein locations would also be interesting. I wonder how many additional pins you would add based on what you already know. Thank you for "work" in this area.
The push pins represent the city locations of folks who attended the reunion in Grabill, IN. Yahoo People Search indicates that there are Klopfenteins in most states albeit very few in some states. The number of Klopfenstein extended family members may very well reach 10-12,000 and possibly much more. The reunion in June only scratched the surface. I'm nearly overwhelmed with genealogy names and details to enter into the computer programm.
