Well, since Angela posted the pic. of Kelsie, I'll post one too. Especially because we also understand about all those hours spent on hair, makeup, and everything else! Mary Lee's junior-senior was a week ago, and she went with a nice boy that she knows from her job at the crepe & coffee shop. Due to the nature of our school, they have a big banquet instead of a dance, complete with a roast of the seniors for the entertainment, and then the kids usually to go various homes afterward for parties. It's kind of hard sometimes to see your little girl grow up, isn't it!

No, I don't usually host a party for that night. I always have to work around Mike's schedule--if he's got to get up at 4:15 the next morning to work 12 hours, they can't be partying the night before. Plus, right here at the end of the school year my plate is usually pretty full. But there are plenty of parties here when the pool opens in the summer. And Andrew comes home on Saturday for the summer, so the action will start up immediately!
