After the formal program, students went back to their rooms while grandparents visited around, met teachers, explored the rooms, etc. The kids had to stay in their rooms and relax/play games/etc. until we "signed" them out or until school was officially dismissed. It is always a fun day. I remembered (unbelievable) to take pictures in each of their rooms, and a friend of Janice took a picture of all of us.

Sounds like it was a fun day.
We attended our first Grandparents' Day at Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis this year -- an inspiring, spirit-filled day.
I've tried to always remmember the following:
1. A grandparent remembers hundreds of "true" stories -- whether they happened or not.
2. What can even a small child manipulate? -- A grandparent!
3. Don't put your grandchildren down -- unless it's on your prayer list.
Cute photos! I especially like the one with you and Jerry in it.
