We had a great Christmas here at home in Alabama. Retta's parents drove down earlier this week and the Geyer's (Dan, Shelly & kids), formerly of Peoria came over for Turkey, cheese covered peas, yeast rolls, etc. etc. etc. Really had a good time eating, playing cards, taking a few Christmas quizzes, riding bikes, watching movies, and celebrating Jesus' birthday. We missed being up home at Christmas, but the 70 degree temp was nice too! Below are a couple pictures of our fun time.
Enjoyed Lynn's pictures of his Christmas morning. What did everyone else do? EDK
PS: Was that Dad (Dave K) in the Towanda IDOT truck on the Pantagraph website?

OK Eric, just "rub it in" that you're down there riding bikes and enjoying that 70 degree weather while we're freezing our **** off and slipping around on the ice-covered streets. Actually, as I awoke this morning, the ice/snow is all gone, but apparently we'll have rain and thunder storms today. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteOur family Christmas celebration will begin about 11 am today as our kids/grandkids begin arriving. I've got the crockpot going, the Klop cake in the fridge, the presents under the tree, the socks filled - and the caramels waiting! Sooo . . . let the fun begin! I'll report back tomorrow.
