Friday, we took Carter with us and drove to KC. It was his 12th birthday so we celebrated with cake and presents. Maria also included Perry's birthday since it was a couple of weeks earlier. On Saturday, we went to Scheels. Maria and I and the children rode the Ferris wheel while Perry walked around pushing Jonas in the stroller. If you ever get to Springfield or any place that has a Scheels---it is worth your time to check it out! We drove home on Monday. Agreeable, easy going, Carter was a delight to have along. ---Carol

ReplyDeleteIt is a sporting goods store that looks like a mall and includes lots of fun stuff like games and realistic wax figures (Abe Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson) who move and speak. It also has quite the taxidermy. ---Carol
