  3. Yep - oh to be young again!

Who is sitting on your left in the bridal shower picture? At first I thought it was Grandma K., but then wasn't sure.

  4. Yes, it is Mother beside me - not the most flattering picture is it? Jerry's mom on my right, Alice's back beside Mother. Not sure about the other person - anybody?

Yes, Carol, the glasses!! I've been through many styles through the years - beginning at 9 yrs old - and those BIG ones were definitely the ugliest!! Although at the time it was the "bigger the better"!

  5. Oh to be young again--and you aren't even old yet. Loved seeing the pics of days of yore.

  6. I think the person on my left at the shower is Aunt Mary. Does anyone agree? Mother doesn't look like she is very dressed up. She usually was dressed to a "T". Was it a very hot day?

  7. Anything connected to our wedding was a HOT day - just ask Jerry! Hmmm - that might not've been my smartest comment . . .BUT remember that it was about 105 in the shade on our wedding day and no air-conditioning. I'm sure it was just as hot two weeks earlier at the shower.

  8. i remember thinking that flowered sweater was so pretty. And I also loved that quilted jacket with matching skirt. Both look kind of silly now. As he 80's are coming back, I wonder if big glasses will too I hope not!
