Can you translate the title I chose for this post?
Thanks for sharing the pictures! I am intrigued by the styles of eye glasses.
ReplyDeleteOh to be young again.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures. Enjoyed seeing each one of them. Sure brings back a lot of memories.
You are so good about putting pictures on the blog.
Yep - oh to be young again!
ReplyDeleteWho is sitting on your left in the bridal shower picture? At first I thought it was Grandma K., but then wasn't sure.
Yes, it is Mother beside me - not the most flattering picture is it? Jerry's mom on my right, Alice's back beside Mother. Not sure about the other person - anybody?
ReplyDeleteYes, Carol, the glasses!! I've been through many styles through the years - beginning at 9 yrs old - and those BIG ones were definitely the ugliest!! Although at the time it was the "bigger the better"!
Oh to be young again--and you aren't even old yet. Loved seeing the pics of days of yore.
ReplyDeleteI think the person on my left at the shower is Aunt Mary. Does anyone agree? Mother doesn't look like she is very dressed up. She usually was dressed to a "T". Was it a very hot day?
ReplyDeleteAnything connected to our wedding was a HOT day - just ask Jerry! Hmmm - that might not've been my smartest comment . . .BUT remember that it was about 105 in the shade on our wedding day and no air-conditioning. I'm sure it was just as hot two weeks earlier at the shower.
ReplyDeletei remember thinking that flowered sweater was so pretty. And I also loved that quilted jacket with matching skirt. Both look kind of silly now. As he 80's are coming back, I wonder if big glasses will too I hope not!
